INITIATIVES

Interactives

Once a month the ICC hosts an online seminar and discussion for campus professionals, partner organization staff and interested members of the community on various topics meant to educate about Israel and hone advocacy strategies. RSVP for the next ICC Interactive! Click here for information on how to RSVP.

Ask Herzl

Ask Herzl is an online community for pro-Israel activists to share programs and strategies with each other.

Ask Herzl offers you a world of programs and strategies for how to support Israel on campus and in your communities. Instead of having to “reinvent the wheel,” those great programs can be submitted to Ask Herzl. Users can submit programs and strategies for the Israel community to see, share, critique, and "like."

Israel Campus Beat

Israel Campus Beat the premier student-written, online publication that covers campus Israel trends and events. ICB strives to be the go-to address for also posts articles from local campus newspapers and opportunities such as trips, conferences and internships so that interested students can be better informed and connect with other pro-Israel advocates. Read ICB and share with your students to stay connected!

Regional Professional Trainings

The Regional Trainings engage Hillel professionals on a personal level and develop participants' capabilities for creating positive change for Israel on their campus. They help identify unique campus challenges, give campuses individual attention and provide campuses with proactive plans as they progress through the year. Hillel professionals of all positions and experience are welcome.

RESOURCES

Countering Delegitimization

For many campuses, the delegitimization of Israel on campus and prevalence of the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) campaign is a concern. To this end, the ICC has mobilized its network of partner organizations and professionals to collaborate on countering-BDS materials. These materials include case studies, documents, resources, and best practices guides for campus and community professionals, as well as students dealing with delegitimization of Israel on their campus. With numerous contributors, the ICC’s materials provide a comprehensive, user-friendly resource to assist in important efforts on campus.

Managing Director, Hasbara Fellowships

Q: What does Israel advocacy mean to you?

"The ultimate goal of pro-Israel advocacy is to ensure that our home countries remain strong friends of Israel forever. There are many ways to work toward that mission. The way I choose to do it is by educating future generations of Americans about the strategic importance and moral imperative of America’s friendship with Israel."
