ICC Consultation Enhances Member Communications

One of the overarching goals of the Israel on Campus Coalition is to enhance communication among member organizations, so it was only fitting that the ICC’s Spring Consultation, held in Washington, DC, on June 12, 2008 was filled with opportunities for attendees to discuss the 2007-08 academic year.

Examining the “Distancing” of Youth from Israel

The web-based conference about the “Distancing of Young Jewry from Israel” – sponsored by the World Council of Jewish Communal Service – examined Israel engagement models that work best for different age groups (including our work with today’s college students), and participants from around the world had the opportunity to pose questions as well.

Originally created in 2002, the Grinspoon Israel Advocacy Internship is an outstanding opportunity for student leaders to have a profound impact on their campus communities. Grinspoon Interns develop and implement a creative, ongoing, strategic, collaborative and impactful long-term initiative, within one of the Internship’s issue areas, that is designed to change campus Israel culture tangibly.
