CAE Faculty Fellows
The
Center for Academic Engagement organizes and trains faculty to advise, mentor and teach pro-Israel students and Hillel staff on various campus Israel issues. As such, the CAE will select
Faculty Fellows to help accomplish these goals. The CAE will work with 90-120 faculty, staff and trustees administrators on 15-40 campuses across the United States. The CAE aims to reach 70 to 100 campuses after four years.
The Center for Academic Engagement will also provide these academics with workshops and seminars on the history of Israel, the Arab-Israeli conflict, geopolitical issues and related matters. It will provide a network of support and foster ongoing communication among Faculty Fellows on different campuses. The CAE also aims to bring Fellows to Israel (TBD).
CAE Faculty Fellows will come together once a year for various seminars and workshops, including:
• How to work effectively with students
• Learning more about Title VI
• Understanding student organization finances
• How to work with students with psychological problems
• Gaining insight into working with the Dean of Students office
• Learning more about the student-grievance process
With the support of the campus Israel network, The CAE Faculty Fellows program will be instrumental in making positive change for Israel.
