The Charles and Lynn Schusterman Family Foundation is dedicated to helping the Jewish people flourish by supporting programs throughout the world that spread the joy of Jewish living, giving and learning. The CLSFF has long been committed to Israel, to strong U.S.-Israel relations and to Israel’s central role in peoplehood and in Jewish identity. In North America, the Foundation aims to provide multiple avenues for Jewish young people to forge and deepen their connections to Israel, to learn about modern Israeli history, politics and society and to advocate on behalf of Israel in their schools and on their campuses. Additionally, the CLSFF works to advance the standing of Israel in academia and to strengthen the areas of Israel engagement and pre-collegiate Israel education.

In the winter of 2006-2007, the Charles and Lynn Schusterman Family Foundation was proud to partner with the Israel on Campus Coalition and other organizations, taking 550 college students and young adults from around the world on the Leading Up North program. All participants engaged in service projects to assist with post-war efforts in ten Israeli communities. ICC-run trips brought together student representatives of its member organizations, working together in community service and fostering necessary dialogue among various pro-Israel voices on campus.

Long-devoted to programs for college students, the Charles and Lynn Schusterman Family Foundation is a major funder of the Israel on Campus Coalition, Hillel: The Foundation for Jewish Campus Life and the Political Leadership Development Program of the American Israel Education Foundation, among others.
