Jewish Travel Internship Program

The Jewish Travel Internship Program is a yearlong paid combined campus internship program dedicated to the promotion of KAHAL and Masa as organizations on your campus. This program will allow you to connect with other college students from campuses all over North America and the UK, give you professional development skills, provide you with engaging opportunities to share your personal KAHAL and Masa experiences, and to connect you to the larger Jewish community on your campus and globally. Instead of representing just one experience, as partnering organizations we see the massive value in combining efforts to share opportunities both our organizations offer–widening the range of Jewish experiences for young adults globally.

As a JTI intern, you will encourage students to apply for Masa programs in Israel, identify students currently studying abroad and connect them with KAHAL opportunities, and share your personal travel experience with as many people as possible. You will receive $300/semester for completing your recruitment goals, attending weekly 1-1.5 hour meetings, and representing KAHAL and Masa on your campus.

You will have program supervisors who will help guide your experience and give you all the tools and resources you’ll need to be successful. Did your time studying abroad or living in Israel completely change your life? This program is designed for you to be able to share that lived experience with as many other people as you can. You are giving them the clue for what the next stop is on their Jewish travel journey.

KAHAL aspires to give the tens of thousands of Jewish students studying abroad each year the resources, tools, and connections they need to meaningfully engage with the Jewish community and deepen their Jewish identity during one of the most important, meaningful, and enduring experiences of their lives.

Masa Israel Journey:
