Reporting to the Assistant Director of Campus Strategy, the Campus Strategist is responsible for:
Working with supervisors and other staff to manage all logistics of the StandWithUs Experiential Israel Programs (EIPs), which are used in universities, high schools, and communities.
Training staff and students on how to use and run the EIPs, both online and on the ground.
Working with supervisors and other staff to manage all operations of Movementbuilder.net – an online tool used by North American and UK university students.
Training staff and students on how to use Movement Builder.
Assisting with research, development, and implementation of proactive educational strategies, campaigns, programs, resources, and messaging on campus. This will include developing new ways to engage audiences virtually.
Assisting with research, development, and implementation of responsive resources, messaging, and educational strategies, to combat anti-Israel campaigns on campus.
Running in-depth training and strategy sessions for students about how to educate their peers proactively and counter anti-Israel campaigns on campus, and creating materials to enhance these sessions.
Working with numerous StandWithUs departments, including Graphic Design, Operations, Video, Legal, Events, Campus, High School, and Community to meet the aforementioned programmatic and strategic needs of the organization.
Consistent and professional communication with colleagues, partners, and students.
Assisting in the planning and execution of local, regional, national, and international conferences, events, and summits; speaking at events and tabling to represent StandWithUs at events, as needed.
Additional Duties – The Campus Strategist should be available to the executive management for additional assignments as needed, including events and meetings, outside normal working hours. This position could also include significant travel, pending the situation with COVID-19.
BA required. Focus in marketing, communications, or international studies preferred but not required.
2 years of experience in leadership for Israel on campus required; marketing and/or political campaign experience preferred. Prior experience with StandWithUs preferred.
In-depth knowledge and passion for Israel, education, and international affairs.
Demonstrated experience with project management, problem-solving, logistics, and organizing campus programs.
Public speaking skills and experience preferred.
Detail-oriented, strategic thinker, strong time management & leadership skills.
A high degree of creativity and flexibility in order to meet organizational objectives and demands.
Ability and desire to travel for work.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Computer literacy, including proficiency with MS Office and internet applications.
