Freeman\, an internationally renowned educator\, inspired by his experiences with LGBTQ+ pride\, aims to educate\, inspire and empower Jewish people to reject the shame of antisemitism imposed on Jews by the non-Jewish world as well as non-Jewish perceptions of what it means to be a Jew. \nThis event will be a celebration and we’ll be joined by Hannah Rosenthal\, former US Special Envoy to Combat and Monitor Antisemitism and former CEO of Jewish Council for Public Affairs\, and William Daroff\, CEO of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations to dive into the fascinating ideas that arise from Jewish Pride. \nThis event is co-sponsored by the Jewish Insider and the Jewish Book Council. \nThis program is part of A WIDER LENS\, a series of events looking into the Israeli LGBTQ community\, diverse society\, and rich culture through A Wider Lens of experiences\, including trailblazing Israeli documentaries\, culinary workshops led by Israeli Chefs\, and meaningful conversations with local heroes and activists.
