DESCRIPTION:Former neo-Nazi Yonatan Langer was born in the small German village of Erlabrunn\, eventually assuming a leadership role in an East Berlin neo-Nazi group. Even though he was a national karate champion and an educated professional of business administration\, he realized he was unhappy. Sensing a deep need for change\, Yonatan embarked on a journey in search of wisdom that would lead to converting to Judaism and making his home in Israel. \nA local introductory class in Kabbalah left Yonatan with a spark of light and a sense of connection\, and he continued to take classes to enrich his spiritual awareness. Through his studies and volunteering with The Kabbalah Centre\, Yonatan transformed\, embracing a path of tolerance\, human dignity\, and respect for people from all walks of life. This was no easy journey\, because it included the recognition of past negative beliefs and behaviors and the work required to question\, challenge\, and rethink everything Yonatan previously believed in. \nThrough this arduous process\, Yonatan found his way toward self-realization\, a process he believes is a continuing journey.\nA student of Kabbalah for over eleven years Yonatan now shares his story with others in hopes of inspiring them to make positive changes in their lives\, as well. He believes to his core that we all have the power to overcome challenges and make a difference in the world. In his spare time\, Yonatan enjoys traveling\, being in nature\, practicing yoga\, meditation\, dance\, and music. He hopes to build his own Jewish family and continues to strengthen his connection with G-d.

DESCRIPTION:Omar is an attorney and former U.S. Department of Defense official. Born and raised in Southern California\, Omar served as a civilian official in the U.S. Department of Defense for several years. He spent 18 months in Afghanistan during the surge as the coalition’s Deputy Chief of Rule of Law and Political Advisor to the NATO Ambassador. Omar then became a counter-terrorism prosecutor. In this role\, Omar supported the capital case against the alleged 9/11 mastermind Khalid Shaikh Mohammad\, the capital case against the alleged mastermind of the USS Cole bombing\, and a case against the alleged Al Qaeda operational commander in Afghanistan and Pakistan.\n\nOmar participated in and led investigations overseas involving suspected terrorist network members and leaders. Detailed to the U.S. Department of State\, Omar was responsible for developing foreign prosecutions of Guantanamo detainees. During his national security career\, Omar proudly represented the United States in nations including Israel\, UAE\, Saudi Arabia\, and Afghanistan.\n\nOmar was the Republican nominee for the 2018 United States Congressional Election in California’s 52nd district.\n\nOmar holds a B.A. in Philosophy from UCLA\, J.D. from Syracuse Law School\, M.A. in International Relations from the Maxwell School of Public Affairs at Syracuse\, and M.S. in Public Relations from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse. Omar’s attorney admissions include New York\, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit\, and The Supreme Court of the United States.\n\nOmar’s parents immigrated to California in the early 1970s from Afghanistan. He is the proud child of hard-working and patriotic immigrants who are living proof that the American Dream is still achievable today.\n\nOmar is a reserve officer in the U.S. Army.
