The Israel on Campus Coalition (ICC) was established in 2002 during the wave of anti-Israel incidents on colleges and universities across the United States associated with the Second Intifada. On many campuses during that period, anti-Israel rallies were a daily occurrence. Some universities cancelled or curtailed their study abroad programs in Israel, anti-Israel rhetoric by faculty inside and outside the classroom increased, and campus administrators seemed ineffectual and timid in their reactions to these disturbing trends. ICC strategically focuses its efforts on building strong leaders in the campus community to effectively advocate for Israel and change the campus Israel climate.
Mission:
Israel on Campus Coalition (ICC) empowers and expands the network of campus Israel supporters, engages key leaders at colleges and universities around issues affecting Israel, counters anti-Israel activities on campus and creates positive campus change for Israel. ICC offers information, resources, training, leadership opportunities, strategic advice and technical assistance to the campus community and to national and international supporters of Israel on campus.
