AWB – “Service and Equality”

In honor of Veterans Day, we will be hosting a fascinating conversation on Service and Equality, highlighting the role that service has had on LGBTQ equality and acceptance.

We’ll be joined by Ofer Erez, the Director of Public Affairs at the Israel Religious Action Center and the first openly trans officer in the IDF, and Liana Meirom, VP of Recruitment and External Relations at IGY and a former combat soldier in the IDF. The conversation will be moderated by James Moon, AWB Board Vice-Chair who served for approximately 10 years in the United States Navy and is a Gulf War veteran.
