JNF – “Frontier Israel Webinar”
July 15, 2020 @ 8:00 pm - 9:00 pm EDT
Looking for a life‑changing experience this Fall? If you’re unsure whether your in‑person classes will resume next semester, take a leap across the ocean for a meaningful, inspiring adventure you are sure to remember for a lifetime on our inaugural gap semester program: Frontier Israel.
Designed by the expert educators at the Alexander Muss Institute for Israel Education (AMIIE-JNF), this program will provide a real life, modern day pioneering experience for incoming freshmen and rising sophomores attending U.S. academic institutions. Frontier Israel will be comprised of two components:
FRONTIERS
Meaningful volunteer work in three enriching regions of Israel (Negev, Galilee, and Center) with JNF-USA affiliates. Volunteer opportunities include farming, building hiking paths for the disabled, working with refugees, and more.
SEMINARS
Educational explorations designed to broaden horizons and build a student’s portfolio of experiences. Seminars will include learning retreats to enable students to explore Israel in greater depth through hiking, educational trips, and guest lectures.
Want to learn more?
We will be holding a webinar on July 15th at 8pm ET led by Marni Heller, Director of High School Engagement at Jewish National Fund, for all interested students and parents. Please email mheller@jnf.org to RSVP and receive the Zoom information.
Frontier Israel has an extremely limited number of spots. If you are interested in a unique and life-changing Israel experience that will embody the essence of JNF and AMIIE, apply today.
