AJC CEO David Harris presents part one of an AJC Academy program about the groundbreaking Soviet Jewry Movement. Harris played a crucial role in the effort, including serving as the national coordinator of Freedom Sunday for Soviet Jewry—the 1987 demonstration in Washington that drew over 250,000 participants, the largest Jewish gathering in American history.
