What we do
Students lead on campus. ICC stands behind them.
ICC is the infrastructure behind pro-Israel students on college campuses: a professional staff and a coalition of more than 40 pro-Israel organizations.
ICC is a convener and an operator. As a convener, it brings the national pro-Israel campus organizations together for a coordinated response to BDS campaigns and anti-Israel incidents. As an operator, it counters anti-Israel campaigns online and on the ground, and gives students the resources and strategic support to lead their own pro-Israel initiatives.
The challenges on campus are not only educational. They also play out as campus politics: student government votes, campus referendums and organized campaigns. ICC is not organized like a traditional nonprofit. It moves at campaign speed, with a team drawn from high-stakes political, policy and communications work, and students can reach it at any hour. Research, field and digital work as one operation: research informs the work on campus, and what students face on campus sharpens ICC’s message.
ICC counters anti-Israel campaigns before they spread.
When a referendum or anti-Israel campaign emerges on one campus, similar efforts follow elsewhere. ICC alerts students early and works hand in hand with them to prepare a counter-campaign.
Research is the backbone of the operation. ICC studies anti-Israel campaigns and the public arguments behind them, on campuses and online, and shares what it learns with coalition partners as campaigns unfold. Its national polling tests which messages about Israel persuade, and students and partner organizations get that tested language.
ICC’s standard: every known anti-Israel campaign, campus referendum and incident gets a response, on every campus, not only the ones that make the national news. ICC aims to respond within hours, not months, and no pro-Israel student should face an incident alone. When ICC identifies coordinated misinformation about Israel online, it works to publicly document and correct it.
Staff on campus. Strategy for students’ own campaigns.
In the field, ICC’s Regional Directors work on campuses year-round, building relationships with student leaders, campus organizations, and university decision-makers. ICC supports students running for student government and other leadership positions, while training them to build coalitions across campus communities. Microgrants put resources directly in students’ hands. When students take on a campaign of their own, ICC helps plan it and brings partner organizations behind it.

Students’ words, in front of the country.
The conversation online is the conversation on campus, and ICC works both at once. Its creative team builds graphics, video and petitions that students and partner organizations can use, and ICC runs digital advertising at campuses facing anti-Israel campaigns.
Students in the Student Press Pool publish op-eds and go on air. ICC’s staff get their stories into national and regional outlets, and ICC’s own channels carry them far beyond campus.

Support for Israel cannot belong to one party.
ICC shows up where the next generation of leaders in both parties is formed, so that the leaders of the next decade champion the U.S.-Israel relationship. On campus, ICC backs pro-Israel students whatever their politics. Our national summit has welcomed leaders from both parties.
